Erk, I created this page as a placeholder and it's weasled it's way to the top of Google results for "gentoo lvs". These are two pages that I used to build my Gentoo based LVS cluster:

When using NAT based load balancing you will need to have different subnets for the Load Balancer device and the balanced machines behind it, I don't think this should be the case, but for some reason it is, it caught me out for a while.
